A few Photos from the Pallid Light Release Party

I'd like to thank everyone who attended the Pallid Light release party. While the book will probably not appear in stores until Feb., those who attended the party did get advanced copies. There are too many people to thank, but every one of them needs to be thanks. For the moment, the best I can do is general show of gratitude, with a special thanks to the zombie waitresses who were dead on their feet by the end of the day.

Now here are a few photos:

Ooo, looks like it was fun. And zombies. Who doesn't like zombies?

I have just received word that the group referenced in your post prefers to be called "zombie servers." Apparently "waitress" is an outdated term that does not accurately reflect the current state of the industry.

I saw the book in the SF/F section at Barnes and Noble here in Plano, TX last week. Looks sharp. Hope it does well for you, William.

Rick - The party was quite a thrill, and very busy.

Charles - It seems they number of zombies kept increasing. What a surprise.

Steve - Mainly the living dislike zombies, I think. :)

Jeff - Good point. I noticed they formed a union once they gathered. I'm sure documents are soon to follow.

Christopher - Thank you! And thanks for keeping an eye out for the book. I know around 50% have already arrived at stores, but I've not idea where the rest are lurking.

Drink too much and pass out at William's party? The zombie hostesses will take care of you. (I suspect the hostesses had plenty to "eat" after the party ended, eh?)
